VivaTech, the major event for technological innovation.
The world of technology vibrated to the rhythm of VivaTech 2024, one of the world’s biggest trade fairs dedicated to innovation and start-ups. This event, which has become a must-attend for technology enthusiasts, investors and entrepreneurs, took place in Paris from 22 to 25 May 2024.
VivaTech is the place to be if you’re a start-up! This event has been held every year in Paris since it was launched in 2016 by Publicis Groupe and Groupe Les Echos, bringing together more than 150,000 visitors, as it did the previous year. The theme for 2024 was “The Future is Now”, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence.
Investors, companies, major groups, start-ups and the general public from all over the world came together to discuss the latest technological innovations, particularly in the fields of :
- Virtual and augmented reality
- Artificial intelligence
- Cyber security
- Mobility
- Healthcare
- Environment
The four days were punctuated by conferences, product demonstrations, networking sessions and start-up pitches. A number of key personalities were present throughout the event, some of whom were available for Q&A sessions.

The picture above shows Tesla’s Cybertruck, designed by Elon Musk. This electric pick-up is an impressive 5.68 metres long and boasts a revolutionary design. Valued at a minimum of 70,000 dollars, it represents a major innovation in the field of electric vehicles.
Our startup at VivaTech 2024
For the second year running, V.BIOTECH took part in the VivaTech event in Paris, where very promising meetings were scheduled with major international companies with a view to potential future collaborations, interested either in molecules for cosmetics or in biomaterials needs specific to new technologies. Indeed, the event offers a unique platform for meeting industry experts, creating business opportunities, exchanging ideas and forging strategic partnerships.

V.BIOTECH, hosted by various Village by CAs in Reims and B3 Vierzon, was invited by the latter to the Centre-Val de Loire Region stand to present the progress of our start-up.
This wasn’t just a presentation for us, but an illustration of the relentless efforts we’ve put into growing our project throughout the year! Pitching at VivaTech opens the door to international visibility and opportunities for rapid growth. For our CEO, it was a key opportunity to share our vision, our project and our ambition.
And there was a nice surprise on our return from the event: Jean-Pierre Nadir mentioned V.BIOTECH in one of his posts as a high-impact start-up!
Conclusion
VivaTech 2024 was much more than just a trade fair for V.BIOTECH: it was a place where everyone involved in technological innovation could meet, share ideas and find inspiration.
It was an enriching experience for our start-up and we look forward to participating in future editions!
